First Time Visitor - What Can I Expect?
If you are considering visiting Calvary Baptist Church for the first time, please feel free to visit during any of our services. You'll find that our folks are very friendly and welcoming.
At Calvary we have no dress code, some folks will wear their "Sunday best" while others might wear jeans and flip-flops. We encourage you to wear what YOU feel comfortable wearing to God's house.

We don't segregate our congregation nor brand our services with classifications such as "traditional", " classic", "contemporary", "modern", or "blended". We strive glorify God in our service and worship of Him at each and every service.
We believe that you will find that our services are Spirit-led and people oriented. You'll enjoy worshiping with us in a warm and friendly environment singing old and new hymns as well as listening to special music and personal testimonies. Some may feel led to sing, recite a favorite scripture or poem, play instruments, and/or testify. You may take part in as much of our service as you feel comfortable.
We believe in the power of prayer. At each service we always set aside time(s) for prayer (personal and church lead). If you have a prayer request, feel free to let us know and we'll earnestly pray for your request.
We'll never embarrass you in any way. We will not recognize you as a visitor in front of others unless you ask us to do so. We will not drag you down an aisle. We will not ask you to lead in prayer or even give an offering. Most importantly, you can be certain that we will never judge you.
We only ask that you open your heart and let God speak to you and lead you in your service and worship of Him!
Don't worry about parking, we have no assigned parking spaces, however if you have special needs, let us know and we'll ensure your parking is adequate for your needs.
If you have any questions or need a ride to church, give us a call at 606-240-0339; we'll work to help provide you transportation to and from church.
