Current Situation Report
COVID-19
Updated - 13-Feb-2022
Calvary Baptist Church has resumed all regularly scheduled church services effective 04 April 2021 (Easter Sunday) as well as most activities. We are planning to host a Vacation Bible School (VBS) July 18, 19 & 20, 2022 as well as the 85th Annual Gallup-Chapman Homecoming on 4 September 2022 .
Sunday School for all ages has resumed at 10:15 am and our regular Sunday morning worship service begins at 11:00. Face coverings remain optional, hand sanitizing stations are still located throughout the building. A no-touch thermometer also remains available for use.
We are working to ensure the safest environment possible to reduce the risk of transmission from COVID or any other transmissible illnesses. To this end we depend on God's people to make good decisions regarding church attendance in relation to exposure(s) and/or potential exposure(s) to to all transmissible diseases/illnesses including, but not limited to, COVID-19, flu, strep, and/or other transmissible diseases.
We currently continue to broadcast our services live on 101.5 FM at 11 am to listen in the Chapman/Gallup area.
Some activities, such as hospital visitation and JJ Jordan Center ministry/activities remain suspended and/or "to-be-determined" and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. We are planning our first Gospel Sing on April 2, 2022 at 6:00 PM.
Please continue to pray for our Church, the Community, all those affected by the virus, our Country and our leaders.
If you are unable to attend and would like to send tithes and/or offerings to the Church, you may contact the number below or mail your offering to our church mailing address at Calvary Baptist Church, 282 Eloise Road, Louisa, KY 41230. Make all checks payable to Calvary Baptist Church.
